How do I schedule an appointment?

You can schedule an appointment online using our self-booking link. If you are unsure which treatment to choose, call or message us at 949.325.9525 or email us for help.

Payments

Do you accept insurance?

We are a self-pay practice and do not bill insurance directly. Payment is due in full at the time of service.

If you would like to receive a reimbursement from your insurance company, it is your responsibility to verify your benefits and bill your carrier.

Can you provide a superbill?

Upon request, we can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Requested superbills are sent at the end of each month.

What is your cancellation policy?

We allow cancellations 24 hours in advance of your appointment time. If you cancel your appointment within 24 hours, a late cancel fee of $50 will be applied. No-shows will be charged in full.

What if I'm running late for my appointment?

Please call or message us at 949.325.9525 as soon as possible. We understand that things happen, but unfortunately, if you arrive more than 10 minutes late, we will not be able to provide your treatment and the appointment will be marked as late cancellation incurring a $50 charge.

What is acupuncture?

Acupuncture involves placing very thin, sterile needles at carefully selected points on the body. Each treatment is personalized according to your symptoms, health history, and goals.

Does acupuncture hurt?

Most patients experience little or no discomfort. You may feel a quick pinch as a needle is placed, followed by warmth, tingling, heaviness, or a gentle ache. Many people become deeply relaxed or fall asleep during treatment.

Acupuncture should not cause persistent sharp pain. Please tell your practitioner if anything feels uncomfortable so the needle can be adjusted or removed.

What is Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)?

Traditional Chinese Medicine is a system of care that has developed over thousands of years. It approaches the body as an interconnected whole, considering your symptoms alongside sleep, digestion, stress, energy, and lifestyle. TCM may include acupuncture, herbal medicine, cupping, gua sha, nutrition, and other therapies. Can I use an HSA or FSA card?

We accept HSA and FSA cards. Because individual plan rules may differ, please contact your plan administrator if you have questions about whether a particular service or product is eligible.

Do you offer refunds or exchanges?

Services and prescribed herbal medicine are nonrefundable. Because herbal formulas are selected or prepared for an individual patient, they cannot be returned or exchanged.

We want you to feel supported and satisfied with your care. If a treatment or herbal formula does not seem to be working for you, please email us so we can discuss your experience and determine an appropriate next step.

How many sessions do I need?

Treatment frequency depends on the severity and duration of your condition, your response to treatment, and your personal goals. Your practitioner will recommend a schedule after learning more about your needs and will adjust it as your care progresses.

Traditional Chinese Medicine is not only a treatment but also a way of supporting ongoing well-being. After addressing the initial concerns, many patients continue to visit regularly for maintenance and general wellness.
